The school website that I have chosen is my old school that I went to from Pre k to eighth grade. It is called Resurrection Catholic School. The website has not changed since I visited it back in middle school. There are some updates but it is mostly informational updates. There is even still a picture on it when I was in fifth grade. I think they need to do some updating. When you visit the teacher page it tells you all about their staff names and their emails.

I have never blogged in my life and I think it is pretty cool. Most of our blogs consist of writing how we feel and our opinion about a topic. I really like blogging now. I have learned to be more open and get creative and fun while writing the blog.
One of the new skills I acquired form the web evaluation assignment was getting familiar with making tables. When I used a table it was always in Excel and I think it is pretty cool that you can make tables in Microsoft word as well. Something that I can improve for next time is making a colorful table so it is not just plain and black and white. Check out my Web Evaluation Form below!

Teachers websites seem to be great resource for teachers themselves, students, and even parents! your web eval form looks really great, has good format looks like it could be easily used.
ReplyDeleteHi Kayla! That’s awesome that you’ve enjoyed blogging so much! It’s a great educational tool that I’ve really enjoyed using in high school and college, and I think it would be great to implement in a future classroom. Also, your web evaluation form looks great! It’s very detailed, yet provides a clear and concise way to evaluate websites for reliability. Great job!
ReplyDeleteHi Kayla! I like that you used a school website from one you actually attended! I agree they probably do need to do some updating, I looked up my high school's as well and they do too! It seems to be something that is not high on their priority list which is interesting to think about it. I feel the same about blogging though, I have really enjoyed it thus far! I also like your evaluation and how it clear and to the point!
