Flipped classrooms are when the students read the material at home of the lesson. The teacher can give helpful YouTube links to give more information on the lesson if they need to. The students then come back into the classroom and apply the knowledge they learned. It helps students learn at their own pace and creates independent learners. In a traditional classroom, the teacher teaches lessons and then tests on their knowledge later. I am personally not a fan of flipped classrooms. I think it is for much older students like high school and college. I believe the traditional classroom should be left for K-8.
The digital divide can affect students' success in school because they may not have access to the internet. Their internet maybe really slow and will take hours to watch a lecture video. The student may also not be very educated when it comes to using the skills of the computer. Some of the causes are the cost of technology, lack of skills, lack of education, and access for the disabled.
One of the new skills I acquired from working on the two PowerPoint assignments was doing a voice-over. I knew that you could do it but I never knew how to. I think my first PowerPoint that I did was good. I included lots of imagery, videos for more understanding, and cool transitions. If I could change one thing about my PowerPoint, I would change the topic.

I definitely agree with you that flipped classrooms are better for high school aged classrooms. During that age period, students need to learn how to be more independent and almost "teach themselves" because if they go to college that will happen a lot more frequently. Doing flipped classrooms in younger students might not have the best results because at younger ages the students rely on their teacher a lot more.
